We are a group of men having the same interest in music, producing variable sounds and combined into songs. The name "INLANDER" was taken from a Dutch word which means something like "native people". This is because the members are originally local people. Sure there are also some philosophy background for the name, socially and politically, but we tend not to write it down here. Formed in the early 2001, Inlander started as a musical project covering old school punk rock hits from The Misfits, The Ramones, Sex Pistols and a few others with faster and heavier sounds. Ground Zero is the labor of love for hardcore/metal/punk rock, 5 guys who have been longing to involve in the current music scene while having great fun, away from their daily routines . They first came up with the name Circle Pit; and use this name from August 2009 until early 2011. Then decided to change the name to Groundzero soon after their first vocalist decided to leave the band. Ground Zero is currently in the process of recording their debut album which it will be released tentatively in late 2011.
