A lone squad of death metallers amid the bulletbelt thrashers of 1992's Jakarta metal scene, RITUAL DOOM were born outsiders, developing their own unique sound and sophisticated songwriting.
Going on hiatus for just over a decade, from 1998 to 2009, they may have returned with only one original member – guitarist Vivi – and to a scene filled with new death metal bands, but if anything they remain more distinct as a result.
Atmospheric and doomy old school deathsters, 2013 will see not only a long overdue new album, but a performance at OBSCENE EXTREME to show all those youngsters just how the old guard do it!!!
